Your Data & Account Deletion

How to see, export, and delete your Tavern Trivia data — including full account deletion.

What we store about you

Your account profile (email, name), subscription status, and your gameplay data: generated questions, answers, scores, favorites, flags, and multiplayer results. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

Delete your account

Deleting your account removes your profile, favorites, flags, usage history, and personal gameplay data. It's permanent.

In the app (fastest)

• Sign in at taverntrivia.app/app (or open the mobile app).
• Tap your profile picture → Manage account → Security → Delete account.
• Confirm. Your sign-in identity is deleted immediately; associated gameplay data is removed from our systems within 30 days.

By email

Email privacy@taverntrivia.app from your account email with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify it's you and complete deletion within 30 days, with confirmation.

What deletion does and doesn't remove

• Removed: profile, favorites, flags, question history, usage counters, subscription records held by us.
• Anonymized: your display name in other players' finished game records becomes "Deleted player" — their game history stays intact without identifying you.
• Kept where required: invoices and payment records that Stripe/Apple/Google or tax law require us to retain, and minimal fraud-prevention logs, for their legally required periods.

Cancel a subscription (without deleting your account)

Web: open Billing → Manage subscription. iOS/Android: use your App Store / Google Play subscription settings. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an Apple/Google subscription — cancel it in the store first.

Export your data

Email privacy@taverntrivia.app with the subject "Data export" and we'll send a machine-readable copy of your account and gameplay data within 30 days.
